Finding the Waterside in Kinsale

     We are situated about 1 mile from the centre of Kinsale - in the direction of the Old Head of Kinsale. What makes it so easy to find us is the fact that we are less than 100 yards from the new Bridge - on the Kinsale side. If you are driving to Kinsale from Cork, (which is about 17 miles), simply take the Airport road which takes you directly to Kinsale.

         If you arrive by Ferry to Ringaskiddy/Cork the route to Kinsale is slightly more convoluted. Take the road through Carrigaline, then follow the signs to Tracton and then on directly to Kinsale.

         Especially due to the emergence of Low-Fares airlines, Cork airport (14 miles direct to Kinsale) is very well served from Continental Europe and the UK. Check their website at http://www.ork.aero for your departure options from the UK and Continental Europe. In Summer there are also a limited flights service from/to the USA.

         There are very good Ordnance Survey maps available. Especially good if you are considering a cycling, walking, exploring holiday are the "Discovery Series" of maps available in most bookshops about Kinsale. Ask for Map number 87 of the OS Discovery Series for the regions about Kinsale.

         Don't forget the Tourist Office in Kinsale, (and many other cities and small towns about Ireland). They are always a great source of useful information and feature events.
